The start of a new life

Your gift can provide safe and supported lodgings to vulnerable 16 – 21 years olds who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. We can provide shelter, food and a safe place to sleep for the night. From here we can move them to a carefully matched ‘host family’ and provide them with the opportunity to develop their skills and eventually live independently.

Carl was only 16 when he became homeless.  His mother had died 18 months previously and his father had found a new partner and then moved to a different part of the country.  Carl ‘sofa-surfed’ at friend’s houses for a while, but eventually, there was nowhere for him to go. Vulnerable and hurting, he would have ended up on the streets had we not been able to help.
